However, it is weak on the bass side and finding the "sweet spots" on your panel is crucial to get the best output. You will need EQ to achieve a flat response in most cases, but the exciter's resonance around 200 Hz means no output from your panel around that frequency. Therefore, a crossover and support with other drivers may be necessary if you require frequency response across that "hole". These exciters work well when making speakers out of XP's foam.
