Customer Questions & Answers

  • Question: What sizes are included in the CLASSIC Combination spanners set?

Answer: The CLASSIC Combination spanners set includes five essential sizes: 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 14mm, and 19mm. These sizes cover a broad range of fasteners, making it a versatile tool set suitable for various tasks. From automotive repairs to home improvement projects, having these sizes on hand allows users to tackle most common nuts and bolts efficiently.
  • Question: What is the benefit of the offset design in these spanners?

Answer: The offset design of the CLASSIC Combination spanners provides better leverage and access in tight spaces. This feature allows users to maneuver easily around obstacles, making it ideal for working in confined areas like engine compartments or behind furniture. The angled offset head also ensures a more comfortable grip while applying torque.
  • Question: Are these spanners made from durable materials?

Answer: Yes, the CLASSIC Combination spanners are crafted from high-quality heat-treated chrome vanadium steel. This material offers both strength and durability, ensuring that the spanners can withstand high torque applications without bending or breaking. Their sturdy construction makes them suitable for professional mechanics and DIY enthusiasts alike.
  • Question: Can I use these spanners for both metric and imperial fasteners?

Answer: The CLASSIC Combination spanners set is specifically designed for metric fasteners, ranging from 8mm to 19mm sizes. While they primarily cater to metric measurements, having a spanner set like this can still cover many applications where metric sizes are predominant, making it an essential tool for workshops that frequently deal with metric specifications.
  • Question: How is the spanner set organized for easy access?

Answer: The CLASSIC Combination spanners set typically comes in a convenient case or organizer that keeps the tools neatly stored and easily accessible. This organization is crucial for quick identification and retrieval, especially during time-sensitive tasks. A well-organized tool set helps to reduce the frustration often associated with searching for specific sizes.
  • Question: What types of tasks are these spanners ideal for?

Answer: These spanners are perfect for a variety of tasks, including automotive repairs, furniture assembly, and general maintenance. The offset design and versatile size range make them particularly useful in scenarios where regular wrenches don't fit properly. For instance, they can effectively tighten or loosen bolts in hard-to-reach engine areas or provide the leverage needed on stubborn screws.
  • Question: Are the spanners designed for comfort during use?

Answer: Indeed, the CLASSIC Combination spanners are designed with user comfort in mind. The offset handle not only enhances access to hard-to-reach areas but also allows for a more ergonomic grip. This reduces strain during extended use, making them ideal for jobs that require significant effort or time, ensuring users can work efficiently and comfortably.
  • Question: How can I maintain these spanners for longevity?

Answer: To ensure the longevity of your CLASSIC Combination spanners, it's recommended to clean them after each use, especially after exposure to grease or dirt. Store the spanners in their case to prevent them from getting lost or damaged. Regularly inspect them for signs of wear and tear, and avoid using them on oversized fasteners to prevent bending, thereby maintaining their effectiveness.
  • Question: What distinguishes CLASSIC spanners from other brands?

Answer: CLASSIC spanners are distinguished by their robust construction and thoughtful design features like the offset angle and precise sizing. They are crafted to meet the demands of both professionals and hobbyists, offering reliability that often surpasses conventional brands. Users appreciate their performance and adaptability in various projects, making them a favored choice in tool sets.
  • Question: Where can I buy CLASSIC Combination spanners set, offset, 5 pcs 8-19mm in Uruguay?
