Preguntas y respuestas de los clientes

  • Pregunta: What is the maximum output power of the Amcrest Active Gigabit PoE Injector Adapter?

Respuesta: The Amcrest Active Gigabit PoE Injector Adapter provides a maximum output power of 15.4W per port, ensuring optimal performance for connected devices such as IP cameras and wireless access points. This capability allows for reliable operation, especially in demanding environments where multiple devices need power. For example, if you are setting up a security system with several cameras, this injector can support them seamlessly without the need for additional power sources.
  • Pregunta: How does the Amcrest PoE Injector ensure compatibility with various devices?

Respuesta: The Amcrest PoE Injector adheres to IEEE 802.3 10BaseT and IEEE 802.3u 100BaseTx standards, which means it is compatible with a wide range of devices that support Power over Ethernet. This makes it suitable for use with many types of network equipment. Whether you’re powering IP cameras or VoIP phones, this injector will ensure a stable connection and efficient power delivery, making it ideal for office setups or smart home installations.
  • Pregunta: Can I use the Amcrest PoE Injector outdoors?

Respuesta: The Amcrest Active Gigabit PoE Injector is designed for indoor use. Exposing it to outdoor conditions could lead to damage and affect its functionality. For outdoor installations, consider using weatherproof enclosures or dedicated outdoor PoE solutions that ensure durability against weather elements. This is particularly important if you are setting up IP cameras outside where they may be exposed to rain or extreme temperatures.
  • Pregunta: What is the significance of the 100-meter range in the FSE801G model?

Respuesta: The 100-meter range indicates the maximum distance the Amcrest PoE Injector can effectively transmit data and power through Ethernet cables. This is particularly beneficial for installations where devices need to be placed far from the power source, such as in large buildings or complex setups. By utilizing this distance, you can install IP cameras on higher floors or remote locations of your property without the need for extra power outlets.
  • Pregunta: Does the Amcrest PoE Injector support gigabit speeds?

Respuesta: Yes, the Amcrest Active Gigabit PoE Injector supports gigabit speeds, enabling data transfer rates up to 1 Gbps. This ensures that your network devices operate at their full potential without any bottleneck. Such functionality is essential in environments where high-definition video streaming or large file transfers are common, making it a perfect choice for security cameras or wireless access points requiring fast data connectivity.
  • Pregunta: Is there a specific Ethernet cable required for the Amcrest PoE Injector?

Respuesta: While the Amcrest PoE Injector works with standard Ethernet cables (Cat5e or higher), using a Cat6 or Cat6a cable is recommended for optimal performance, especially over long distances. These cables minimize signal loss and support higher data rates. For your security setup, use a quality cable to ensure reliable power and data, especially if your camera is located far from the injector.
  • Pregunta: Can the PoE Injector be used with non-PoE devices?

Respuesta: The Amcrest PoE Injector can only power PoE-enabled devices. Non-PoE devices will not receive power and will need to be connected separately to a power source. However, these non-PoE devices can still utilize the data connection from the injector, ensuring seamless network access. In scenarios where both PoE and non-PoE devices are needed, using this injector along with a PoE splitter could be a viable solution.
  • Pregunta: What indicators are available on the Amcrest PoE Injector to show its status?

Respuesta: The Amcrest Active Gigabit PoE Injector features LED indicators that display the power status and activity of the connected devices. These lights make it easy to diagnose issues quickly, whether it's confirming that the power is being supplied or detecting data transmission. This can be particularly useful in troubleshooting network setups, as you’ll instantly know if a device is powered and connected properly.
  • Pregunta: How do I set up the Amcrest Active Gigabit PoE Injector?

Respuesta: Setting up the Amcrest PoE Injector is straightforward. First, connect your Ethernet cable from the network switch to the 'IN' port of the injector. Next, connect another Ethernet cable from the 'OUT' port to the PoE device. Once plugged in, the device will automatically start receiving power and data. This makes it a hassle-free solution for installing devices like surveillance cameras without needing complex configurations.
  • Pregunta: Where can I buy Amcrest Active Gigabit PoE Injector Adapter in Uruguay?

Respuesta: You can purchase the Amcrest Active Gigabit PoE Injector Adapter at Ubuy. They offer a wide range of tech products, including this PoE injector, ideal for various networking needs. Ubuy provides a seamless shopping experience and ensures that you have access to quality products that enhance your security and connectivity setups.
