Death & Dying Editorial Review
Broken Things is a YA mystery/thriller with diverse characters and intriguing plot twists. While some readers found it hard to get started, once they got into the story and learned about the background of the girls, they found it hard to put down. The ending was described as a twist. Although not everyone's favorite book by this author, it was still considered a good read with interesting characters and plot twists that kept readers engaged until the end. The book was praised for its different perspectives, twists, turns, and characterization. It was described as an extremely tense and gripping story. Some readers were initially unaware that it was a YA novel but still enjoyed it. Overall, Broken Things is an interesting and quick read, though it may not be a reader's favorite book of the year.
