BLACK+DECKER Portable BPP08HWTB Editorial Review
The BLACKDECKER 12,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner with Heat and Remote Control is a decent option for those looking for a portable air conditioner with heating capabilities. With its two rolling caster wheels and carry handles, it is convenient to move between rooms, however, the installation process does take 5 to 15 minutes. Some issues that have been reported by customers include a loud "chunking" noise when it switches to fan mode from cooling mode, not being powerful enough to cool the space indicated in the product description, and not lasting long-term. Some users have also reported issues with the heating mode and remote control. Despite the reported issues, some customers have found this unit to be a good value and effective in cooling their living spaces.
