The documentary provides behind the scenes stories about the club, including its early years, the comic strike, and dark days, and interviews with Pauly Shore about growing up in this environment. The documentary also pays tribute to comedians who have passed away, like Sam Kinison, Freddy Prince, and Richard Pryor. Overall, the documentary is an eye-opening and entertaining experience for stand-up comedy fans.
