OM SYSTEM Digital Voice Recorders WS-400S Editorial Review

** Olympus WS-400 S Digital Recorder (White)** The Olympus WS-400 S Digital Recorder has garnered mostly positive feedback from users, particularly those looking for a reliable device to record lectures, interviews, and professional discussions. Many users praise its compact size, which easily fits in a pocket, as well as its impressive sound quality, especially when recording in high-quality mode. The dual microphones provide good sensitivity, enabling users to capture clear audio from a distance, making it suitable for use in larger classrooms or conference settings. Listeners have noted that while the built-in speaker is minimal and not ideal for playback, using headphones significantly enhances the listening experience. The convenience of directly uploading recordings to a computer through a retractable USB feature has also been a highlight, allowing users to share files quickly after recording. However, a common complaint is the inability to rename the preset folders on the device, which can be limiting for users who wish to categorize their recordings more effectively. Despite this minor drawback, many users still find the product to be a great value, noting its affordability and the quality offered for the price. As a testament to its reliability, several users have used this model Consistently over the years and would recommend it to others needing a dependable recording solution, particularly for academic or professional purposes. **
