Nutritionist's Take
Stridex Pads, Maximum Strength, are primarily designed for acne treatment, containing 2% salicylic acid — an ingredient recognized for its effectiveness in treating and preventing breakouts. Nutritionists acknowledge the benefits of salicylic acid in exfoliating the skin, unclogging pores, and reducing inflammation. However, there are potential drawbacks, including skin irritation, dryness, or allergic reactions, particularly for individuals with sensitive skin. The product's formulation includes alcohol, which may exacerbate dryness. Overall, while Stridex Pads can be beneficial for acne management, they should be used cautiously and in moderation. Consumers with specific skin conditions or dietary restrictions should consult a healthcare professional before incorporating these pads into their skincare regimen.
Stridex Pads, Liners, Shields & Guards 41388097015 Editorial Review
The Stridex Maximum Strength Pads have received mixed reviews from customers. Some users found that the pads caused breakouts due to the inactive ingredients. However, others have had success using the product to clear their skin. One customer shared that the pads, along with other skincare products, helped improve their mild acne and cystic bumps. Despite some negative experiences with damaged packaging, other customers found the product effective for cleansing the face and clearing acne.
