Workbooks Editorial Review
The Scholastic First Grade Workbook has received high praise from parents who use it as a tool to supplement their children's learning. Many have found it to be engaging for their kids, with one parent mentioning that their daughter enjoys the variety of subjects covered in the workbook and the use of markers to make it fun and colorful. Another parent recommended it for preparing their child for first grade, and others mentioned using it as a summer study aid or to help their kids reinforce what they've learned in school. The workbook is applauded for covering a wide range of activities, including handwriting, reading, math, and more. Additionally, the inclusion of mini tests, stickers, and fun work pages has been well-received. However, one parent noted that some activities, such as those involving multiplication and calculating the perimeter of shapes with 3-digit numbers, might be too advanced for a first grader. Despite this, the overall sentiment towards the workbook is positive, with parents crediting it for helping their children continue to grow and learn outside of school hours.
