The Elna Elnita ef72 sewing and quilting machine is a solid and well-made machine that is easy to use. It features 172 built-in stitches, including 9 buttonholes, basic and utility stitches, quilting stitches, and 2 alphabets. The machine has an auto thread cutter and can back stitch. It is capable of stitching letters between 1/8 and 1/4 inch tall. The throat space is 10 inches with a 4.7-inch wide seamless flatbed, which is great for large quilting projects. One downside is that the machine does not come with an extension table, but it does have a big 7-inch-wide bed. The machine is not recommended for heavy fabrics like leather and vinyl, though it does work well for quilting. Some users have reported difficulties when sewing over cotton seams and wished that it came with a knee lift. Overall, the Elna Elnita ef72 machine is a great option for those looking for a sturdy and reliable sewing and quilting machine with a good selection of stitches.
