Thule Securing Straps 841002 Editorial Review
Thule lockable straps are highly recommended by customers who have used them to secure kayaks, paddleboards, and cargo on car rooftops or porches. When comparing them to Kanulock straps, customers preferred Thule because they offer matching keys. However, some customers found the plastic lock vulnerable to damage or cutting, and a few noted that the straps could not be tightened enough. Despite some criticisms, the majority of customers appreciated the straps' ease of use, durability and security. Overall, Thule Lockable Straps offer convenience and security when transporting or storing bulky items, such as kayaks, surfboards, cargo or even paddleboards. The straps are easy to use and come in different lengths, depending on the user's needs. Although some customers raised concerns about the lock cylinder's durability, the straps' wire braid prevented any cutting attempts. The straps are also compatible with the Hull-a-Port Pro kayak rack. In general, the Thule Lockable Straps are a solid investment for those who prioritize convenience, durability and security.
