Thrush Mufflers 17650 Editorial Review
The Thrush 17650 Welded Muffler has garnered a positive reception from customers, appealing particularly to enthusiasts seeking an excellent sound profile at an affordable price point. Many users have expressed satisfaction with the deep, rumbling tones, often comparing its sound quality favorably to that of the more expensive Flowmaster 40 series. Customers noted that it delivers a nostalgic muscle car sound reminiscent of the classic pro street era, making it a top choice for those aiming to enhance the auditory presence of their vehicles without the extreme volume levels experienced with some other brands like Flowmaster Super 10s. While the Thrush muffler is praised for its sound, there are some trade-offs, particularly concerning highway driving. Several users indicated that it produces a noticeable drone at higher speeds, which can be bothersome for extended journeys. Nevertheless, the performance and tone at a fraction of the price compared to more premium options make it a compelling alternative for budget-Conscious buyers. Installation appears straightforward, and customers reported satisfactory results across various vehicle models, including trucks and SUVs. The overall sentiment indicates that the Thrush 17650 Welded Muffler is a solid investment for those looking to upgrade their exhaust system with minimal financial commitment, while still achieving a desirable sound. **
