Back on Track Boots Editorial Review
The Back on Track Hock Horse Boots Pair are highly recommended for horses with hock issues. These boots are described as very sturdy and provide much-needed support for horses with arthritis or other hock problems. The boots come as a pair and are made of high-quality material. According to a customer, the boots stay up nicely on the horse when tied, but it is recommended to wrap the lower leg to prevent sliding. Another customer suggests using bell boots to keep the wraps from falling down into the dirt, which can help prolong their lifespan. The boots do not contain any magnets and can be worn for 2-4 hours during the first week, gradually increasing the wear time to 24 hours. It is advised to remove the boots for at least 12 hours in between wearing. Overall, customers have had positive experiences with the Back on Track Hock Horse Boots Pair. They have noticed a significant improvement in their horses' mobility and comfort, particularly for horses with arthritis in the hocks. The boots have been used successfully on horses of various sizes, from 14 hands to 17 hands. However, some customers have experienced difficulty in keeping the boots in place without using tape or bandages. One customer even reported that the tightness required to keep the boots on caused discomfort and irritation to their horse's skin.
