This plasma cutter does not have a pilot arc torch circuitry, so it is strictly a "touch and cut." Cutting sheet metal up to 1/8" produces a clean cut. It can also cut 1/2" round bars and 1/4" steel sheets but slowly and leaves a ragged cut. Parts can be obtained on eBay. The unit comes with a free Consumables kit. The machine comes with a 10' cutting electrode and 15' ground cable. There is a Youtube instruction available for it. Reviews show that the leads are short and the machine produces water at the torch tip in high humidity conditions. There is also a big delay in work time because of the 6-1/2-minute duty cycle and 3 1/2-5 minute rest periods. One reviewer had to return the machine for a repair three months after they had bought it. Some of the reviews say that it cut well, others say it was terrible, left a ragged cut, and ate Consumables for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. One reviewer was not impressed with the plasma cutter and states that the torch blew a hole in the side of the sheathing after 2 minutes of use.
