Purity Pool Rakes, Skimmers & Nets SR40LC Editorial Review
**** The oversized leaf rake has garnered a mix of responses from customers who have put it to work in their pools and ponds. Many users appreciate its ability to efficiently collect debris, particularly duckweed and leaves, attributing it with performance that outstrips traditional methods like venturi-powered leaf blasters. Its substantial size (four feet wide) allows for the removal of large quantities of leaves in a single pass, making it a time-saving asset for those with large pools or ponds frequented by falling leaves, particularly in the spring. Customers note its robustness, with many mentioning the high build quality that gives them confidence in the tool's longevity. While some users found it cumbersome due to its weight when fully loaded, others have devised clever modifications, such as using pool noodles, to make handling easier. On the flip side, a few complaints have surfaced regarding the difficulty of emptying the sizeable net, as well as trouble with maneuvering the rake effectively. Flipping the net while casting it into the water has proven to be a bit tricky, although experienced users have found techniques to master this aspect. Overall, the rake stands out as an invaluable tool for those dealing with substantial debris in their water bodies. With its impressive capacity and sturdy Construction, it is well-recommended for anyone needing to manage heavy leaf accumulation. **
