Learning Resources Stopwatches LER0525 Editorial Review

The Learning Resources LER0525 Big Digit Stopwatch has garnered a mixed reception from customers. Many users appreciate its functionality, particularly for timing activities like children's obstacle courses and athletic training. The stopwatch is noted for its simplicity and ease of reading, which makes it accessible for all ages, including kids who are excited to use it for personal challenges. Several testimonials highlight its durability in various conditions, from rain to sweat, solidifying its reputation as waterproof. However, despite initial satisfaction, some customers have raised concerns about quality over time. A few users reported that the stopwatch ceased functioning after a short period, with issues like screen failure or button malfunctions occurring within weeks or months of use. These problems have led to perceptions of a decline in manufacturing quality, especially in newer models. Additionally, while the functionalities, including the alarm and the date display, are appreciated, the tiny instructions pose a significant usability issue. The overall customer experience ranges from enthusiastic recommendations based on longevity and ease of use to disappointment over the reliability of newer versions. **
