ALONEFIRE Handheld Flashlights Editorial Review
The Alonefire x106 rechargeable flashlight with black light option has garnered positive feedback from customers for its solid Construction, practicality, and ease of use. Many users appreciate its compact size, which makes it convenient to carry for various tasks around the home or outdoors. The flashlight’s notable features include a magnetic base that allows it to be attached to metal surfaces for hands-free operation, and a pocket/hat clip that enables further mobility and convenience. The flashlight offers a straightforward interface for switching between its three white light modes—high, medium, and strobe—along with a separate function for the UV/black light, which has been noted for its effectiveness in revealing concealed stains and other substances, such as pet accidents. Users have remarked on the strength of the UV light compared to cheaper models, making it a worthwhile investment for those seeking a reliable black light. While the flashlight performs well in most areas, there are some minor criticisms regarding its usability, particularly on the interface setup that requires multiple presses to turn the light off, often cycling through the strobe mode first. Some users found the instructions included with the flashlight to be somewhat lacking, implying a need for better guidance on its operation. The flashlight is made from durable aluminum, making it both lightweight and resistant to damage, with LED bulbs that promise longevity. The rechargeable 18350 battery is viewed positively, though a few users expressed the inconvenience of needing to familiarize themselves with a less common battery type, as many households are equipped with other battery sizes. Despite this, the changeable battery feature is often hailed as a significant advantage over models with built-in batteries. In terms of value, users feel the flashlight strikes a good balance of performance and price, making it suitable for both casual users and those with more experience seeking a functional, all-around light. **
