The grip is strong and the handle won't pinch your fingers at maximum closure. However, they are not as useful as the Cobras for turning pipes. These pliers are heavy-duty, and the self-adjusting function works really well. The tool does not slip and can grip down on anything and just get tighter until your job is done. However, the pushback isn't very strong, and the pliers are a bit loose for some users' taste. Overall, the Knipex 10" Auto-Adjusting Pliers are a great purchase, and anyone who is looking for a fast self-adjusting tool should give them a try.
