valkyrie Editorial Review
The Valkyrie 250L Silent 3W Suspended Waterfall Aquarium Filter has garnered a mix of reviews, reflecting varying customer experiences with its performance and noise level. Many users appreciate its effective filtration capacity, noting that it provides adequate water clarity, especially in smaller tanks, which is a primary use case. One reviewer noted that it successfully cleaned their 200L aquarium in just an hour, showcasing its high suction power. However, when it comes to noise, perceptions tend to differ. While some customers expected a completely silent operation, most reviews suggest a more nuanced sound profile, with a general Consensus that it is quieter than many traditional filters but not entirely free from noise. One user compared its sound level to that of a typical desktop computer fan, indicating it is bearable while still being present. Using the filter without its lid appears to be a common workaround for reducing noise, with several users indicating that removing the lid minimizes vibrations and subsequent sound levels. The filter's size has also been a frequent topic among reviewers; many found it smaller than anticipated, which may be a Consideration for those with larger aquariums. Although effective for small tanks or aquariums designed for specific fish, such as beta fish, its compact design may not suit everyone. Overall, the Valkyrie 250L filter seems to be a practical option for smaller aquarium setups, delivering solid performance in cleanliness and functionality while offering a generally quiet operation—provided it's used in a certain way. **
